The Iron Decoy lures offer versatile applications for anglers. They're effective for cast-and-retrieve, ice jigging, and open-water trolling. For optimal performance, it's recommended to attach your line directly to the front split ring. Alternatively, using a quick snap or snap swivel connected to the front split ring can also work well. Adjust your retrieve speed based on your chosen technique, as Iron Decoy lures perform successfully at slow, medium, and fast rates. When vertical jigging, especially for ice fishing, vary both your rise and drop speeds, as well as the distance you lift and lower the lure, to target specific fish effectively.
